Hpipe sounds better IMO.

Had a Prochamber and shorty headers on the '90 LX 5.0 T-5 I bought from Silverworm and later sold to Somethingclever - it sounded fantastic! Still miss that little red car - she was super clean and ran great!

was it a deep tone and was it loud? it just a tough choice....so many ways of doing an exhaust

It was perfect!! :D This might help - I'd take my 4-year-old daughter to daycare in it 4 days a week, and she loved it. ( She is a bit of a motorhead like Dad ) It wasn't too loud ( Flowmaster cat-back behind the Prochamber ), but when you jumped on it you knew it was far from stock. Everyone who heard it, from my parents to buddies to coworkers, loved it.

I love the sound of exhaust. I have BBK short headers, Bassani catted X, and stock cat back. The X pipe gives it a more unique tone IMO but the h definitely is the quintessential mustang rumble.

I had the prochamber, h-pipe, and x-pipe (all non-catted) on my cars, and preferred the x-pipe.

Someone around here had a prochamber for sale not long ago. Might have sold, but was only a month or so ago... Maybe an advanced search in the for sale section...

H or x. No prochamber. My son seemed to like the sound of it as well. Especially at wide open around 6800RPM. The smile on his face was with it.
