I think it would have to be at least a 2.7 if not larger. It would have to out-perform the current V6 Mustang which is pretty darn impressive for a six.

I've read a little about this as well, can't remeber where. But I think they should do it. I just don't know how they would market it with all the other models offered currently

I agree it doesn't have a market niche unless the next generation looses a lot of weight, and the drop the V6 offering. I love my 4 cylinder turbo power, but it's not going to motivate the "heavy" cars of today, especially compared to a 300 hp / 30 mpg V6

If they want to do a SVO with an eco boost 4, it should go into the Fusion as a SVT model (with handling suspension)
