Directions and road work.

Does anyone know if there is construction going on near the blvd of allies exit on the parkway. I need to go to Fifth ave tomorrow and thats the way map quest says to go. I'm not to familiar with Pittsburgh and I will have a garmin but just wandering if that would be a pain in the neck or I could go down 28.

I don't know what 28 is like right now, but it's been a shitfest for the past few months while they do the 31st street bypass.

Blvd. of the Allies is clear and so is 5th Avenue... Just come down 28, take the ramp for Veterans Bridge/579 S. towards Mellon Arena, then jump off at 6th avenue but stay straight to go onto Ross St., you'll pass the Steel Tower on your right, follow Ross St. then hit the right onto 5th.
