Just trying to kill tbirds with one stone here....so here goes,

1. 94 and 95 mustang 5.0 cranks...are they forged like the 86-93 or are they casts?
2. Anyone have any experiance with going .060 over on a stock block? Ive always heard there were issues with that being to much for stock block and water jacket restraints and that much overbore makes the cylinder walls to thin.

Any input feel free to chime in.

I don't think any fox Mustang 5.0 cranks are forged. Some pistons were forged -( earlier year foxes - maybe '87 - '90?? ) but the cranks were not.

Unless you are going with a completely stock rebuild meant for a regular street car, I'd stay away from a .060 overbore.

Yeah you are right....i was having a brain fart , the cranks are cast and the 86-93 rods are forged

Disclaimer: I don't know anything about SBF's.

I believe 86-92 came with cast cranks, cast rods, forged pistons
93+ was the same with hypereutectic pistons

You can have a machine shop sonic check the wall thickness and tell you if it's a safe overbore.
