Been planning this for a few weeks and ideas/plans are starting to come together. Several of the parts will be used but heres what im looking at so far..

Edelbrock Performer RPM intake..used
70mm TB set-up
AFR 165's w/58cc comb. chamber...used
AFM high rev valve spring kit Part Number AF-HR-15018 with steel locks and retainers
Gaterman Lifters from AFM
hardened pushrods..not sure what brand yet
gonna go .030 over on the block
Eagle I-beam rods part number 5400CB
Lunati cam im leaning towards.. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LUN-61010/
gonna use 1.6 rockers..not sure which ones yet
SpeedPro forged ZL2482F30....will also consider DSS' new pistons since they are about the same price as the speed pros from summit
I plan on running a MSD billet dist
valley girdle and main girdle as well.
7qt proform oil pain.
Plan on a standard use waterpump..in otherwords not going with an electric one.

Thats the meat of the plan so far..im sure ill add more...or even change some down the road as it starts in the next few weeks lol.

Well already changed a few things up lol...gonna stick my heads,intake and throw a cam at a stock longblock then start my real project a big inch 351w in the fall/winter.

I think the best bang for the buck would be a turbo setup. You could probably make ~450 pretty safely on the stock long block with a mild cam. The F cam is supposed to be pretty decent for turbo applications. That'll give you a little lope for now then down the road you can bolt on a turbo kit and really have some fun

Yeah turbo kit would be at least 2500 by time its all said and done....sure I would love the power but I'm not spending that much on my entire build. Maybe on my next project.
