I have a used Carb cable if your interested, Troy.

If you can find one from the 79-85 also snag the bracket the cable attaches to, that attaches to the intake, this will make things a lot easier.

im kinda jumpin in this thread late but where could i get a throttle cable or could i modify my stock one, im converting from a 5.0 efi to a 306 with a carb

I converted a Fox from EFI to carb several years ago & was able to get a throttle cable from Advance Auto, then just made a bracket to bolt to the intake

ok so if i just go there and order a t cable for a carbed fox and get one of those spectre brackets it should work?

Late to the game...you know you should've called me, Troy.

Get a cable for an in line 6 cyl Mustang. Loop it to get it to line up. Don't try to s-bend it, because the radius is too tight. Come look at my car if you have any questions.
