I have a customer in shop that would like to add on to his roll bar or have it completely cut out in favor of a 10 point. The only reputable chassis shop that I know of in Pittsburgh area is Dominick Race Car Fabrication, unfortunately he is backed up too far. Looking for another option if there is one. Don't really have time to travel all over the world to get this done but would like to help the customer out if I can.
Thanks

Looks like they do some hard core stuff but not much information on their website. You know anyone that has used them before? They don't list a street address but a quick map quest puts them at over 4 hours, hoping to find someone closer. At this time of the year, it's going to be real hard to get a car in and out quickly unless someone squeezes us in just to add on to the existing roll bar.
Thanks

I know the shop. I thought they were out of business??? I couldn't tell you the last time I was on that end of Carnegie.
Thanks

I'm assuming they are but will call them. I came up with an idea that would involve Team Z but I'm waiting to hear back from them.
Yeah, they're still open. They just moved down a few buildings.I know they moved from the red to the white building years ago, I didn't know they moved again. Like I said, I haven't been on that end of Carnegie in a long time. The only reason I thought they were out of business is because thats what I have heard more than a few people say or suggest over the last year or so.

How about Jeff at 1st Try?Jeff's a good dude and a friend but he's not a professional chassis builder! I'm not trying to imply that he cant do the work, but my customer wants it done by a professional chassis shop so my hands are tied.

Domination Chassis is still open and would be more than able to set the customer up. I know he is not a site sponsor here and all the other BS, but if the customer is looking to have quality work done and it's local, that's where he should go.

Mike, as Troy said Henry did mine and I couldn't be happier with the work. I know it has been a while but I remember you drooling over the welds Henry did to my bar. I went to him after I couldn't get rigid race cars to answer their phone as I remember how nice yours was that they had done. He is located just south of Hanover PA.

Does your customer need it soon? As in, can he wait until Dominick has an open slot? I have watched the work that comes out of his shop, including Balaska's first Fox, Ironman's Nova, and my buddy's Camaro and Cutlass. Just a thought.

David said August at the earliest, I have to have the car ready for pickup early April or shipped back to Canada by mid April. I told the customer quite a while ago this needed done, he deferred and then sprung it on me last minute. He's on his own I guess, I was just hoping to pull off a miracle for him, he's a good dude and customer!
Thanks
