I've only ever had radials on my car so I'm new to this, I live just a little over an hour from PRP and about 2 hours from Waynesburg... not really wanting to put a bias ply tire on the front and changing the rear is a PIA with my car being lowered. What's safe?

Yeah - I hate the way they feel on the street, even with higher air pressure than you'd run at the track. Plus, everything sticks to them and gets thrown back against your car. I tested a set I bought a few years ago, and couldn't wait to get home and put the street tires back on. Of course, they are great at the track, but not so much to- and from the track.

I used to daily drive on them with radial fronts. Jack up the air pressure to about 18psi when you are driving on the street. As long as you remember you have ET streets on the back and don't try driving like a pissed off teenager you will be fine.

Ummm.....NO!!!!! I drive to Waynesburg on Nitto Drag Radials....that's a completely different tire than an ET Street.
