View Full Version : '98 Camaro I tuned this week.

We had a dyno day coming up here by my school so my friend wanted me to dial in his Camaro. It is a 1998 t-56 car with a 2001 LS1 engine in it. The only mods that we know of are SLP MAF, SLP lid, catback, and aftermarket catted y-pipe. The owner said there might have been head work but we can't prove or disprove that. Still has EGR and AIR and all that pollution crap.

He said he would be happy with getting 300rwhp out of it. I hate guessing dyno numbers so I said we will see.

And the end result was 331rwhp/358rwtq, he was very pleased to say the least, especially because the 3 guys that ran before us were bitching saying the dyno was reading "too low" and they "should have" made more power.

Those cars make some nice power, and the torque curve is great too
