keep compression around 9-1 and you will be wasting your time to put a t-5 behind that motor

8.5 up to 9.5 for compression, 205cc or bigger heads, solid roller cam with atleast 240duration @.050, a converted vic jr intake or super victor, 80lb injectors at least, with 16 lbs of boost a 1000 hp is easily possible so i hope you have deep pockets for the full suspension/ roll cage/ 3000-6000$ tranny setup/ 1000-2000$ rearend/ 1000-2000$ fuel system/ 1000-3000$ efi/carb setup, then the turbo(s) headers, blowoff, wastegate, charge cooler, meth injection 2500-5500$/ plus other small items guages..etc maybe another G.

the only goal i have right now is to outrun a new 5.7 6 speed gto bone stock

In that case all you need is any aluminum heads, any intake, and a cam with at least 230deg dur@.050, and some traction. 302 or 351 dosnt make a difference if a 5.7 gto is your competition. Those things might go high 12s low 13s on a good day
