Honestly, it's the best truck I have ever owned and I have had plenty! I wouldn't make a habit out of pulling big box trailers with it but it pulls open trailers just fine, you don't even no it's there!

Thats how i feel about mine too. It pulls both my trailers very well and gets about 11mpg doing so. Which isn't great but oh well!

Tough to get a gas motor to do much better than that. My 2001 5.4L gets that with an 18' trailer loaded with a car.

Wow, incredible! - How do you like the SLC so far? Straightforward build?

If we were building it for the street yes just bolt it together. However, since we are racing it we are challenging everything. Anything you bolt on is weight so putting things in a location for service and weight distribution crossed with materials used. Kind of have to layout the entire car and systems instead of just bolting on stuff where its easiest. Also, need to make sure there is plenty of adjustability. We can calculate what we think the car will like but until its tracked and raced we won't know. Also it will be an endurance car so room to expand to carry more fuel and picking a brake package that will allow thick pads as well as quick pad changes if needed. It's a slow process but we hope that translates into wins.

1.6X all day with the 3C and stock suspension, several 1.62's. I am hoping for consistent 1.5x's with the new unit but we may find the limitations of the stock suspension. Heading to MIR next weekend...
