Ok folks, here is the flyer for the Track Rental Friday, October 6th at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Feel free to pass the flyer to anyone who might be interested.
Click Here for RaceFlyer.pdf (http://www.mikeymustang.com/images/RaceFlyer.pdf)
Please note the following!
Edit 9/5/06 - Flyer has changed to reflect that the Rain Date is To Be Determined.
There is a limit of 50 racers, so the 1st 50 who pay their entry are "in" for the evening. NOTE: The entry fee DOES NOT INCLUDE the Gambler's Race. You may prepay for the Gambler's Race or pay the $20 that evening.
If you wish to pay via PayPal, the PayPal address is allbrightstripes@verizon.net. If you are using PayPal, PLEASE also send an email to Dan Moore at allbrightstripes@verizon.net giving your name, address, telephone number and email. In case of a raindate or other issue, Dan and Mike need to know how to reach you.
The cut off date for payment is September 30th.
The track concessions WILL NOT BE OPEN for the evening. Please plan ahead and bring any food, beverages, snacks, ice, tools, etc. that you may need.
PLEASE direct questions to mikeymustang or Dan Moore (contact info on flyer)

Hours are from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Oct 6... gates will open at 5:00 and we are asking people to try to be there by 5 but not manditory
Price is 75 bucks with a POSSIBILITY of getting 25 or a portion of that back (if there are no oil downs) (we are not in this to make money!) we want to give everyone the chance to really "test and tune" we are limmiting the event
to just 50 cars to keep the number of runs high.
This is NOT a Mustang only event...we will accept ANY kind of "legal" racing vehicle...we just expect proper conduct by all!
Spectators are 10 bucks
One note though is the rain date of OCT 13 is not correct!!! it is still tentive
any other questions?

Mikey,
Are there gonna be any cage restrictions? This might be the only time this year I can run and I won't have a cage. Thanks!

We will post availability as we can. For now, there are approximately 42 openings left, give or take 1 or 2. In the meantime, double up on the fiber and drink plenty of water. Caffeine might help too. :hurry:

I am off work this week. When I get back I am going to see if I can get done with work early that day. If so I will send in my money.
Sit tight, big boy. :jump:

Ok guys...here's another update.
Dan received an avalanche of payments for the Oct 6th track rental this weekend. There are now 16 slots left out of 50. If you and your friends want to get in on this event, please get your $$ to Dan soon. (Remember Sept 30th is the drop-dead date.) Once the 50 slots are filled, that's it. Don't be left out!
If you attended the track rental in August, you'll know this is one of those rare chances to get in 10-12 runs at PRP and/or test'n tune as much as you want.
Also, spectators can pay $10/person (under 12 no charge) at the gate and do not need to pre-register. There will be a person at the gate to collect $ and to check in pre-registered racers.

First of all Accuweather is predicting a decent day/evening on Oct 6th: Warm with clouds and sun, high 78 low 58. Sounds promising!
Here's where we stand: With less than 6 days to get your $ to Dan Moore, we still have 10 slots open. So, if you've been trying to decide, decide now because we're down to the wire. Specators can pay at the gate, but racers MUST preregister. Payment information on the 1st post of this thread and on the flyer.
Both lanes will be prepped and sprayed, so you should be able to get in as many runs as you like. Use the evening to test'n tune and/or race your friends. We've had some people offer to videotape runs or take still shots. If you've been frustrated with PRP because of lack of runs and the crowded staging lanes, here's a chance to get in as many runs as you like, check out other racer's cars and do a bit of BSing on the side. :)

I was planning on going and waited til the last minute but my car won't be done on time due to a new clutch, k-member and suspention mods being done to it. I was hoping to be ready by the end of the week but it's not going to happen.
