I'm stunned that the league and the players union let this happen again.... i didnt start watching hockey until right after the last lockout, but the game seemed to finally be fully recovered and gaining massive popularity.....

If one good thing can come out of this, it will be all the season ticket holders dropping out and I can buy some! lol - nevermind, that's not going to happen.

Words cannot describe my disgust for all parties involved. Neither side could give two shits about the fans or the health of the sport in the U.S., or else they would have been working on this years before it was set to expire.

A potential 2 lockouts in 8 years? Unacceptable.

You know, since they don't really care too much about their investors (the fans), maybe we just stop investing in the product and see who wants to bitch about not making any money.

Not going to mention any of the killer trades made?? I'd rather them slow down a little. Just hope they're not peaking at the wrong time.

They did it last year. Side note. I've been searching for this thread for a while now...

A girl I work with has season tickets, and she was told by the front office that a whopping 65 people dropped their season tickets because of the lockout.

Oh and Pens again look unbeatable.

A friend told me he had emergency oral surgery done. Lost a few teeth. I wonder how far down the visors protect a player. A full face shield would be a pain in the arse to wear I'll bet...

I have been saying it for years, the "flower" is the most overrated goalie in the NHL, proved it again tonight...what a freaking joke. It's strange. He gives up the softest goals sometimes, then he makes remarkable ones too. I don't know. The team has the talent to beat anyone and they showed that earlier with their streak so the only thing to do is to blame coaching.....I guess?

He is brilliant at times but lacks the most important thing all successful goalies have, consistency. Dan lost the game for us every bit as much as the "flower" for leaving him in, again.

Wolfpack Speed

SonofaBish

I've never been a fan of MAF - the guys at work love to pick at me because they know how much i've disliked him over the years, and its for the exact reasons you guys talk about here.... if you give up goals on the great plays, that's expected - but its the ones that you're expected to have that he doesn't get...

Either way - i think there's a lot of things going on... they need to play a better team game - they need better goal tending - and I'm starting to wonder if Bylsma is watching film after the games... it doesn't seem like he's making adjustments to slow down the Islanders and make his team more effective... seems like he's just sticking with the same ol' stuff, hoping it will eventually work out.... just dissapointing

Seems like much of the team wants to sit around and watch 87 and 71 do all the work.... Finally, i hate to say it, but Sutter is not the shut-down guy that Staal was... I felt that Staal was expendable, and i'm still sticking with that, but Sutter wasn't the full replacement answer that i think the Pens thought he might be....

I still have big hopes and expectations for the pens... some teams just match up well against other teams... With the right mindset, the Pens will be fine

First period was big for Vokoun. He made a couple great saves, built up his confidence.. The 2nd period is where the team started to rally and actually play as a team! Much more impressive! Now we just need 1 more..

Respect to the Isles. That's an under rated team that's was peaking for sure. Ottawa is going to be another tough one. Better goal tending for sure.

Looks like we're probably going to get swept. I love that we were the top scoring team in the league and they are making us look this bad?? Boston struggled in their first series and barely won. Yet we can't even score more than one goal?? It's sad. I'm so disappointed. And that bullshit with matt Cooke getting a penalty as the Bruins guy choked him out?? Wtf

Hearing these interviews after the total fail of this team and all the "stars" saying disco shouldn't be fired, and this player or that player shouldn't be let go. Oh by all means lets leave everything as it is so we can watch a team stuffed to the gills with talent underachieve in the post season yet again next year. This team needs shook up in a big way and I hope it happens.
