Don't get me wrong, he still needs to go back to where he came from, but last I checked, he alone can not make any new laws or regulations without the majority vote of all the other elected officials we vote for.

You may think you voted for these representatives, but the truth is they are all part of the two-headed one party system media promoted left/right paradigm.
The Democrat and Republican parties are serving the interest of the megabanks and multinational corporations, not the American people.
One man didn't do this, it wasn't an Executive Order, it was passed through our corporate sponsored bought and paid for congress.
An somehow being forced to buy a product has been deemed Constitutional by the SCOTUS.
It is a socialist and draconian bill, it steals civil liberties, levies more taxes, gives more power to the IRS, and is very detrimental to health care.
This happens when the majority of the public is more interested in dancing with the stars, celebrity worship, and their passions are for sports teams, not freedom or liberty. the Edward Bernays model of manipulating the public is alive and well today.

Two party system is like having two parents and kids. Parents are the gov't. Turn the kids on themselves and send them out in the backyard to fight it out. Then the parents can go about doing whatever they want while the kids bicker.
I won't vote for either of the canned candidates. All you Obama bashers think Romney is the ray of sunshine we need? You got to be kidding. Obama ain't right either, all it takes is one look at how he polarizes people, he's no leader.
Like said above congress should be the focus, that's where the magic happens, the President is just a figure head, he can't do it alone.
I'm "wasting" my vote for Johnson.

I did the same thing in '08, after having voted for Bush twice and being extremely frustrated with the Republican party. This time I will be voting for Romney, I am that upset with Obama that I actually think he can and will do something. I just wish they (republicans) would drop the idiotic religion and overt social conservatism (mostly gay marriage, who cares), I feel neither have a place in politics. i believe in a universal education system but the way property taxes are setup now the districts have entirely too much power on how much they charge home owners. with a flat sales tax that is distributed by the state you hit everyone equally proportionally on how much you buy. when your old youll stop buying cars and stuff you dont need so you will save money and bear less burden.

Not that heathcare is really what it's called. I don't believe in allopathic medicine, but the freedom of choice through the whole process will be eliminated. For instance, you can't do this and see this doctor. Or you can't get this surgury because you did this. It's already happening with the elderly on Government programs. Even if it is the same as welfare or something else, why create more of a bad thing? It's all about control, and to be quite honest I believe population control.

If they can somehow get free healthcare for people who don't have insurance already through their employer without raising any taxes it wouldn't bother me. Hopefully these same people would be required to pay a fee to have said insurance. It wouldn't be great, but it would be something. Where do you draw the line on different needs?, I don't know. Listen, NOONE gets turned away at the ER. Insurance or not, emergency, they take them. Guess who foots the bill when it comes due? The hospital doesn't eat it, they pass the buck along to our insurance companies. Ever wonder why your insurance company pays $10 for two q-tips on your medical bill? Or that it costs $10k a night to stay there? If the state had insurance for these people that came out of revenue already collected, maybe our deductibles and premiums would drop. I don't agree with the whole Obamacare, but if someone gets a free education, why not healthcare. IMO I can learn on my own worst comes to worst, I'm not diagnosing any disease on my own. People say its not fair, well guess what, ole' Miss Crabapple who hasn't had kids in school for 60 years is still paying school tax on a house thats been paid off for 40.....

I agree with you on other issues you listed, but here again lets end that handout stuff now and quit the chain reaction.
The problem I have with the current system is that "healthcare" was transformed into a big business nobody can afford....thus needing insurance. First thing doctors do when someone has an issue is prescribe a pill that provides you with a symptom that's worse than the sickness. I watch my mother in law take 15 pills a day to stay, ahem, healthy. Talk about a money making scheme!
The whole thing is loony. There are some surguries that are amazing, but look at the cost as well. Then we have something called the FDA that supposedly makes sure our Food and Drugs are "safe". Meanwhile, both are killing us as we beg for them.

Talking on her smart phone with the click them bitches do with those huge ass purple lips....she had over $200 in steaks and such in her cart. I was thinking BBQ at the sistas hizous. Nah, she pulled out the good ole ebt to pat and the cashier gave a stupid look....kinda like the one I had. Under my breath I muttered " ain't that some shit, must be nice". She musta heard me and turned and said something back. My rage had started increasing so I calmly bit my tongue. Then she said something else so I politely said "it must be real ****in nice, hope you enjoy the steaks that all us taxpayers just bought you. I'm also sure you will go outside and get in a big ass caddy too". Well, ad I caused a little ruckus in the store, everybody watched her leave. An somehow being forced to buy a product has been deemed Constitutional by the SCOTUS.
Not really they ruled the law as a TAX, Roberts gave the republicans a tool to kill Obamacare. All (Tax) bills must originatein in the Congress (Article I, section 7) this bill ( Obamacare) now a tax demmed by the SCOTUS was started life in the Senate by Reed.
"For all these reasons, to say that the Individual Mandate merely imposes a tax is not to interpret the statute but to rewrite it. Judicial tax-writing is particularly troubling. Taxes have never been popular, see, e.g., Stamp Actof 1765, and in part for that reason, the Constitution requires tax increases to originate in the House of Representatives. See Art. I, §7, cl. 1. That is to say, they must originate in the legislative body most accountable to the people, where legislators must weigh the need for the tax against the terrible price they might pay at their next election, which is never more than two years off. The Federalist No. 58 “defend[ed] the decision to give the origination power to the House on the ground that the Chamber that is more accountable to the people should have the primary role in raising revenue.” United States v. Munoz-Flores, 495 U. S. 385, 395 (1990). We have no doubt that Congress knew precisely what it was doing when it rejected an earlier version of this legislation that imposed a tax instead of a requirement-with-penalty. See Affordable Health Care for America Act, H. R. 3962, 111th Cong., 1st Sess., §501 (2009); America’s Healthy Future Act of 2009, S. 1796, 111th Cong., 1st Sess., §1301. Imposing a tax through judicial legislation inverts the constitutional scheme, and places the power to tax in the branch of government least accountable to the citizenry."

Obviously, it WILL be taxable next year. This will equate to $2,000 to $3,000 in extra federal taxes for me next year. I am def. in the middle class. What is happening here? The pres. did not LIE to us, did he ??? How on God's green earth did this bill pass the House and the Senate? How long is it going to take for hard-working true Americans to quit their full-time jobs, get a part-time job and free 0bamacare, just like everybody else? I have seen several cases of this already. People paying on average between $2k-3k MORE in taxes and getting what for it...NOTHING.
The sad part is...99.9% of the people facing this extra taxing is lower-middle class average americans working 40 hours a week, 5 days a week and cannot afford to lose out on $3,000 they've been receiving for the past decade.
So much for stimulating the economy using get rich quick schemes. Numerous families now cannot afford getting a newer vehicle and are stuck in their previous problem-infested current vehicles.

The democrats have perfected the class warfare tactic in recent years, then you have the people who hear republican and instantly think of uterus's being ripped from women, Jesus freaks, rich old white guys....
Then you compound that issue with the fact that the republicans have lost their favor for the most part with guys like me (typical fiscal conservative but socially liberal blue collar male) because of their strange fascination to try to out democrat democrats....
And Obama wins. I voted for Romney, but I became so disgusted with the republican party I wrote in Ron Paul in '08. The republicans need to drop the religious bullshit and stop trying to promise everyone everything and get back to fighting to let us keep our money and extend the freedom talk to include not just 2A issues, but unpopular to neo-con social issues as well or the left will keep on taking this country to the brink of socialism.

Dear Mr. Xxxxxxx,
Thank you for contacting my office about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (P.L. 111-148). I appreciate hearing from you.
The President's health care plan, which was enacted last Congress, is fundamentally wrong in its approach to improving our nation's health care system. This law imposes onerous new mandates and regulations that will have numerous unintended consequences. It's bad for patients, it's bad for doctors, and it's bad for our economy. Additionally, it threatens to put serious strains on our nation's long term fiscal outlook.
Although the outcome of the recent elections makes our task more difficult, I will continue to support a full repeal of the President's health care plan. During the 112th Congress, I was an original co-sponsor the Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act. In addition, on February 2, 2011, I voted in support of an amendment offered by Senator McConnell (R-KY) that would have repealed the President' health care plan.
Additionally, I have worked to eliminate the worst elements of government-run health care. In April 2011, I helped successfully eliminate Obamacare's onerous expansion of tax information requirements that would have mandated small businesses to submit 1099 forms for routine business expenses like office supplies and shipping costs. Furthermore, I have cosponsored measures which repeal the medical device tax, abolish the Independent Payment Advisory Board, and protect the rights of conscience for consumers, doctors and employers.
As I continue working on this important issue, please be assured that I value your input and remain committed to working with my colleagues to fully repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Please do not hesitate to contact my office in the future.
Sincerely,
Pat Toomey
U.S. Senator, Pennsylvania
