Since breaking my crank in two last month I've sold off most of the Vortech combo and acquired some new parts to run n/a for a while.
Here's the setup.

Freshened stock 302 shortblock w/ F cam
New TFS 61cc 170 FAC heads
Eddy Performer RPM or Saleen/Vortech upper w/ Systemax lower
80mm MAF / 24lb. injectors
BBK shortys/offroad H pipe/flowmaster axle back

Will this hit at least 300 hp/300 tq? I hope so or I'm probably not going to be happy with it too long before adding boost again.
Would like to stay n/a for the next year or so before adding a turbo kit.

300 at the wheels or 300 at the flywheel?

At the wheels......I hope.

I would think it would be really close to the 300rwhp you want. I figured you were talking about at the rear wheels but wasn't sure. lol

if not it might only be a cam swap away, dont get me wrong i loved my f-cam but i think there are cams out there now that make more power

F cams are OK for boost. That's about all really. Even with the tfs heads, you still need more exhaust lift and duration.

My guess is you will be around 260-270 on the wheels. I remember a member here a while ago rush2112 ran his. He has a b can and a couple other small things. He made 180.

F cam is .512. B is .480. More to it than that though.

I think you will be right around 300 as long as the timing and AFs are correct. Wouldn't run the F cam though, leaving power on the table for not much more cash outlay. Compression won't be great with the 61cc chambers either.

I'm not married to the F cam. It came in the shortblock I bought.
I do plan on adding boost again down the road. That's why I got the 61cc heads.

I figure on boosting it within a year, but it may be a lot longer, if ever. Guess I should build it for max n/a power now and worry about the boost if and when it happens.
