Does anybody have any suggestions on a GPS that can handle off road use on a bike. I need something that can take the shock of extended off road riding and that I will be able to punch in a location and have the GPS return me there. I know my car Garmin does that, but I don't know about other brands. Thanks

I'm wondering if using a smart phone could be a better route. It'd be on your person, not mounted to the bike, so it wouldn't get beat up as much.

That's not a bad idea, but I was looking for something that can record the path in so I can follow it out. And I don't have a smart phone. I had one, but didn't like it.

I hear ya. Maybe there is an app for that?? Might end up being cheaper and more versatile than a dedicated GPS for the bike.

Try trailtech.net. I have one of their products on a bike of mine, top quality stuff.

I will. Thanks
