For those of you who new my buddy Scott that worked at the shop, this is his old car. Scott was killed in Afghanistan just about a year ago and the car has been sitting ever since. I recently brought the car into the shop to get it cleaned up and sold for his wife, but I just couldn't let it go. Car is here to stay, stanggt94 came down and cleaned the car up, it's a pretty nice car for a 95 with 100K miles! Car has a fresh paint job, from a few feet it looks great. OEM short block with aluminum heads, cam, intake and it's Vortech blown. Car also has a full street suspension front to back along with brand new wheels & tires. With some TLC and tuning, car could be an 8 out of 10 IMO.

That's a really nice looking vert! I'm sorry to hear about your friend - but it is nice to hear the car will stay around as a reminder of him and what he did for all of us in serving our country.

Mike glad I could help clean her up for you. And from everything I have heard from Scotts wife and friends and yourself he would be honored for you to work on an drive his car. On a another note this car sounds like a beast and is going to put some good numbers down when everything is wrapped up. Mike give me a call when you want the truck done just sitting around last couple days .....

I say just throw some love on there to remember him in some form of vinyl and rock it as-is. sometimes it's best to remember something for how it was.

Been talking it over with Scott's best friend and have given it a lot of thought, I don't need a 4th street vehicle! Parting the car out and then it's getting an 8.50 and slower chassis, modular powered of course:bouncy:

Hey mike, I pulled up the thread to make sure. Are you parting the whole car out? If so would you part with the mirrors? Also the front and rear rotors, would they work on my 03 GT? Thanks!

Wow Mike, you've been busy!
Was just about to say the same thing! When I saw it last week it looked mostly like a complete car minus an engine, seats and wheels.
