My buddy is working on a new header for the site, trying to come up with something with a back drop, not just the new logo.

What does everyone think about this? Im kind of leaning towards just using the new logo alone with some color fading as the back drop. It almost seems like trying to have more art work in the back drop is taking away from the logo...

Probably because that is what was chosen when it was set up. It was tossed around when Lou owned it and they set on red. I like blue, but that's just me. :)

A complete overhaul of the site is something i want to do ASAP but its going to be a while before that happens. My focus from day one has been the little things and making the most out of what we have. A lot of positive things have happened or are in motion since I took over but I it's not all happening over night! Our new logo is hot so the site header needs changed and it needs to work with the current colors.

I think it looks good the way it is. I also agree adding to many graphics in the background would only take away from the logo.

The ad banners are larger than the site banner. Looks gay! The pony in the new design looks like it just escaped from the local petting zoo.

I see what you guys are saying and that will be addressed when the new site is launched, I just wanted to get the new logo up ASAP:goodidea:
