My 2011 5.0 w/3.73 has the regular breaks. I found a take off kit from a 2011 with low miles for 500. Are the brembos that much better than stock or should i just get drilled/slotted rotors and new pads on my regular brakes. any input would be helpful!

I would definitely look into the brembos. You'll regret not picking them up, and I don't think that's a bad price at all.

Big brakes is the best thing I've done to my car.

braided stainless lines will also help a lot....

Keep in mind the Brembos will require a bigger wheel depeding what wheel your running now.

You will need the Brembo wheels as well, or the calipers will not clear the rims. Even the non-Brembo 19" wheels won't fit.

Don't buy drilled or slotted rotors.

No, your wheels don't fit with the Brembos.

Yep Kevin is right. Like I said above, the 19" non-Brembo wheels will NOT clear the Brembo calipers. If you like the look, you can get a set of Shelby wheels off a Brembo-equipped car.

Okay, if i kept my wheels for now, would these spacers be a good option? Some people say no?

I'm not a fan of spacers. I'd buy the Brembo brakes and hang onto them until you can get some Brembo wheels or Shelby wheels that will clear.

Yeah Darren as the other 2 said above. Spacers are not a good thing if your gonna leave them on and daily drive your car.

I'm pretty sure you can fit some 17" wheels on my 14" Baer set up but they were a lot more than 500 lol

Nice buy. I bought Brembos today also - but they will come with a car attached.
