99 Windstar valve knock

Any idea why I have no codes, and I get valve knock something fierce if I run less than super?

Check for vacuum leaks and the mass air meter may need cleaned. Sometimes carbon can build up and cause issues and seafoam can help that. Also I have seen a malfunctioning egr valve cause it.
