no, you need the cobra computer and MAF to make the 24s work correctly.

why would you need the cobra computer as long as everything is matching injector and meter then should work fine, if you did have a computer out of a cobra it is programed differently then maybe even a little more agressive, but you could manage the same out of gettng a chip and tune too.

If you got a chip and tune then you wouldnt need the computer. However to just use it without the tune you would. The 93 cobra computer is a different part number than the other 87-93 ecus. I believe using that meter without the comp is no good.

How's it any different then running 42# injectors with a meter setup for 42# injectors on a stock computer no chip as an example. My car ran fine for years like this single turbo hci setup sure it would have probably make more power with a tune but started and ran perfect.

thats because you bought an aftermarket MAF that is calibrated for the larger injectors and the GT computer. the MAF from a cobra wont work with the GT computer properly, half of the information for the injectors is in the computer and half is in the MAF. he would need to buy an aftermarket MAF calibrated for the GT computer and 24lb injectors or get a tune.

Mass air off a 93 cobra will work fine with 19's.The mass air has nothing to do with the 24's.I have ran a copule of them and work fine. You need to X3Z computer from a 93 cobra. The calibration for the injectors is in the computer unlike any other computer for a fox body. Every other computer is calibrated for 19's

But if you use the X3Z you have to use a 19# meter or the cobra meter.I would just stay away from the computer all together

So the cobra MAF and the GT MAF will output the same voltage at the same air flow? I was under the understanding they only work with the computer they were paired with. taking a sample of the air velocity in a large diameter compared to sampling the velocity in a small diameter and if the velocities are the same your still going to get more air volume passing through the large diameter MAF. Not unless ford did skew the voltage differently out of the Cobra MAF than the GT....maybe so?
Thats only reason the "calibrated" MAFs work is they skew the voltage output
