The forum has been upgraded, obviously! Users can pick different forum skins at the bottom left of every page, we are still working on the "New SCS" theme. Please post any issues here, as soon as I can get out of work and go through the site to check on things I will, thanks in advance for everyone's patients!

Not digging it at all! Everything seems way chopped up and misaligned on my IPad at least. Haven't viewed it from a PC yet. Only plus I see so far is that it looks like the banner finally got a horse in the logo and you returned the My Little Pony to the petting zoo.

I do think it's kind of weird that when you click on reply to thread, it doesn't go to a new page. I guess only if you click on "go advanced" it goes to a new page.

Again, the upgrade is work in progress. It's going to take some time to get the bugs worked out but everything will be addressed and fixed. As far as the new version of vB software, people are just going to have to get used to it. The old vB3 site was outdated and is not supported anymore, a change was a must and better to get it done and over with sooner rather than later!

I'll be positive..... I like the album previews on the Forums page... I never look at member pics because they were a pain to look up... now every time I visit the site, I get a sample of the latest pics!

What I liked about the old site was you could see how many members had logged on that day. If you want to turn that setting on, you will need to go to: AdminCP>Settings>Options>Forum Home:Visiting Members. Then just click yes under "Enable Display"

I'm not particularly in love with it, but then again, i don't really care much what it looks like...
The only suggestion i would have, in comparison to the old setup, is having the "Quick links" and "new posts" buttons availble on the main screen. I have to click on "forums" first before i can access these buttons... Its certainly not the end of the world if that can't be done, but its just a nice-to-have.

If you click the reply button twice it takes you to the advanced screen/new page. Personally I like the quick reply boxes.
I have noticed that image tags don't work anymore. Say you have a link to a jpg, you can have the image show up by pasting the link and placing url here
tags like that.
Now it doesn't work, and having to download an image to my pc and then upload it as an attachment is a pain. Most of my pics are from my phone and I just upload them straight to photobucket rather than my pc.

I added the "What's New?" tab for the activity stream, this gets you to the most recent activity the quickest. Your thoughts?

We are still working on the Garage issues but it's up and running. Those who have huge files will need to resize them in paint to 1024 X 768 if they wont upload and display.

2 monitors as in two separate display screens for one computer. I did figure out that there was a "new skin" which fills the screen out completely. With the setting on the old SCS skin, the display area only filled half of the screen.
I still have to re log in after almost every post.

I think we finally have fixed the issue of not being able to upload large photos, see test photo above. This was one of the last remaining issues that really drove me nuts and has been an issue for years. Are there any other major issues or bugs that need to be brought to my attention? At this point I think we have worked out all the major issues from the upgrade, I will continue to plug away with little things that may need addressed as time goes on. Again, there is a New SCS skin that the forum can be viewed with for those who wanted fresh colors!

Mike do you know if there's any way to automatically resize large pictures like that? It's hard for me to see more than like 10% of that picture at a time.

Maybe try another browser. I don't use Firefox all the time, I typically am on Google Chrome when I come onto the forums. Did you try Internet Explorer to see if it does the same? Could be an issue with Firefox's display setup (some browsers are goofy like that).

Haven't been on in a few months and noticed now there is a subforum missing from the racing section. If its not going to come back for active posting any chance of bringing it back as an "archive"? It would be nice to take a stroll down memory lane.

I have tried 3 different browsers using XP, 7, iPhone & iPad...no issues. Those of you who are still having issues with pictures not resizing properly on your computer, to the best of my knowledge the problem is on your end. Try updating your software and or using a different browser.
