Loved my 10 mile parade today with not one but two police cars trailing behind me in my Mustang down RT66. I stayed at 45 MPH and let the dickheads follow behind me. Really excellent police work boys but no tickets for you. You all made me feel special trailing behind me while someone was committing a crime somewhere else but you all were determined to follow the unlawful Race-Pony. Got to love it the quest for writting tickets. Nothing like the little municipalities using people like a resource and screwing people out of their money to pay for their bills with trumped up ticket. See you all next time dickheads!! No ticket for YOU!!!
Better prepare your anus OP, or at least get the flame suit on.

There is a barracks down there off 66 somewhere, maybe they were getting off work?

Maybe I would not have been so tweeked if the 1st car didnt make a effort to come up behind me at a high rate of speed. He was determined to let me know he was behind me.

I had a peckerhead follow me for 5 miles, finally I pulled over let him around... I got out and looked to see if there was a doughnut on my back bumper.

I get it every now and then as well. Cop will haul ass and get right on your back bumper, then follow you close enough that you can't see his headlights... That shit just makes me nervous and takes my attention away from the road in front of me.

I never really have a problem with the locals. Probably because I don't get out much!!!

This happened to me about a month ago... A state hit the lights after about 8-10 miles and pulled me over. Said he was wondering if my car was inspected (I was in my 1929 Model A Hot Rod - and NO it was not inspected), but gave me a warning because my dad had him in school many moons ago. It was just annoying because it was early evening, I was obeying all traffic rules and not causing any kind of trouble. I felt like he could of been using his time better somewhere else.... Oh well, at least he let me off

That's to dam funny. I had a town cop follow me a few weeks ago I was speeding but he was coming in the other direction. Well he did a u turn and road my Ass the hole way to my house. Well it pa and you can bust someone in that way. In new York you can learned that the hard way

Dont even get me started on cops. RC's and municipal police have radar that works in any direction, radar detectors are illegal, and if the cop is feeling like a jerk you can get a license suspension (7 day IIRC) for going as little as 10 mph over the limit. Oh and insurance hikes are calculated not by points but my infractions in a given time period but EVERY infraction carries points toward losing your license.
On the plus side, I don't live under [edited to avoid political flame war].
