I'm not to familiar with Fox prices but isn't 12,700 alittle steep? Beautiful car non the less.

Beautiful car but don't know a thing about it. They only insight I can offer is that Kauffman sticker on the rad cover shows that it was done in 06 at best. It became SGS performance in 07 and DGR Performance about two years ago. The only thing that has remained there is Dave Guy who is now the sole owner so the quality of work has always been top notch regardless of the shops name.

Once these cars hit 20 years old the prices have gone through the roof for some reason. Back in like 02-03 when I had my T-Bird this was like a $5k car!

It's just the beginning.... stock to mild bolt-on 5.0 Mustangs will keep on climbing.

Imagine how many middle age adults there are with 5.0 nostalgia?

At some point, the collector market will explode.

I don't think you could build it for $12,700.

i must admit, i am somewhat a victim of this. ^^^ i was 16 in 1987 when the "new" GT came out.

if you just say a stock '92 is worth $6K and add up all the parts, you're at $10-11K. it does seem pricey, but it (should be) is a 300rwhp car with what looks like mostly new parts and every bolt-on imaginable.

if you go back two more generations, you can't find a decent mid 60's Impala, Chevelle, Camaro, Mustang, GTO, etc, for less than $20K. This thing would run cirlces around those cars and it's from my "era" as you say.

I'm a bought, not built kinda guy. hahahahaha i don't even have the time to take my sh1t somewhere else to have something "built" let alone try to do it myself. this seems like one-stop shopping. :)

That's what I was thinking.

I agree. It all is in the eye of the beholder. Nice performance and "nostalgic" looks for less than the cost of a new Corolla.

I think that car was for sale last year as well - when the mileage was in the 20's?

For 16k I'd be looking for a Mach 1 or throw in say 5k and look for a Cobra
