My Cobra is at Streetleathol Perf. Having some go faster parts put on it.
Cold air intake
Full 3 inch exhaust and H pipe
All pullies
Tune
What hp should I expect at crank and RW?
Im hoping close to 430 at crank
I want mid to low 12's in the quarter. :pepper:
Is that wishful thinking?

I have a K&N CAI and SLP cat back and made 420 at the wheels and run a 12.6 with a 1500 rpm launch. 3" exhaust is a little too big (may loose a little power) If you go with a 2 1/2 exhaust and depending what size pullies you run 450-470 RWHP should be close.

Actually I think thats how big the exhaust is 2 1/2 and the tips are 3 inch
My bad!

If your getting a 2.93 or 2.8 upper pulley and just changing out the stock idlers, I'd say with full exhaust and a CAI, seeing 450-460 @ the wheels is not an issue. I personally ran consistant 11.60's in the same trim. My buddy ran 11.46 with the same mods also, sticky tires of course.
I've never boughtin into the whole "3 inch is to much" exhaust thing. I ran 3" back with my old eaton setup and car ran like an animal, always made good HP and track times were better then most others with same mods.
(PS. Its too late now but next time you need little parts like pullies, exhaust, etc.. installed...Most guys on here including me would be more then glad to help, might cost you a case of beer but thats about it....)

You haven't experienced the definition of loud until you here longtubes, catless H, and M55 catback lol.

Add about 40 more to the TQ and your on the money. My car made 450/479 with a 2.8

Depends on who ports the blower. I made 548 rwtq on a ported blower and lower pulley setup. Most ported blowers seem to put down 500/500 give or take.

My buddy and I did them at his auto body shop with jack stands, took 3 1/2 hours which includes stopping for dinner. Once kmember is down, the rest is a breeze.

Thanks everybody for the info. The exhaust is a full bassani I think. Damn, I can't remember now. I'll have to get back to ya on that. I know at an idle it is pretty quite and thats the only time. The pully is a 2.8 on the blower and I'm not sure on the others. It will have a no slip pulley also.
450hp would be awesome.... The most hp'ed car I've ever had was probablly my 01 GT or my 87 GN which was right around 270 or 280 at the crank. I don't know what to expect. If I get in the 11's I would probably be beside myself with excitiment. :pepper:

Kevin, while it's up there ditch the blower and go for a turbo or 2, I'm going to be looking for some competition:woot1:

Dude, about the only thing that is going to give you any competition is a top fuel dragster. :biglaugh:

You should be somewhere in the area of 450-470 hp and tq with that setup. I ran pretty much the same thing for a while and still am except now I have a ported eaton. Never got to run that setup with any kind of sticky tire, but with my regular street tires I went 11.92 @ 119

All I can say is the ass-o-meter is telling me hell yea, it's faster!! I went racing last night (won't say where) and raced an '76 Hypo Camaro and beat it. He had already beat everybody there. Let's just say it's an animal! :pepper: :woot1:

Forgot to mention he was running race gas (112 octane)and his car runs mid 11's in the 1/4 without his 2 shots of the juice. Everybody there was amazed including myself.
