Whats Up? My names Matt. I got a 95 black gt convertible. Current mods are a PA automatic tranny with a Edge converter, Offroad H and Mac catback.
My plan.... lol
I'm putting on a set of headers soon and then I want to take the car to Rodeheavor's to get some gears put in. I dunno if i should get 4:10's or 3:73's. Any suggestions?
engine- nothing done inside of it yet, kinda undecided on what's a good combo to get done for H/C/I. I've been looking at Trickflows products. Of course, a little bit of nitrous will help out too. :veryhappy:

Welcome! Its nice to have another '94-95 here! Do you have any pics and where are you from?
As for the gears, if you plan to stay NA I'd get 4.10's, if a power adder is in your future I'd opt for the 3.73's. If you go with 4.10's you will need a way to tune your AODEfor them.
I ran AFR 165's, a FTI custom cam, and an edelbrock performer intake with all of the bolt-ons and put down 304rwhp/331rwtq. I run 4.10 gears BTW.

Would go with the 4.10's, simply because of the weight of the 95 convertible. Lots of good H/C/I combos out there. Do a little research and see what performance level you want to achieve. And welcome to SCS!

I'm from Uniontown but the stang sleeps in Mt. Pleasant. I know this car is heavy so I didnt know what to expect for 1/4 mile times. I was hoping to atleast get into the 12's before adding a little bit of nitrous.

I've only seen one 12 second NA AODE mustang convertible in all my years of dealing with these cars. It actually belongs to a freind of mine. He too had AFR 165's, an edelbrock performer intake, and a custome FTI cam that was setup for a blower. He made only one pass and ran a 12.9 at 105 on drag radials with 3.73's. 12's can be done, but it will take some work and careful planning if you want to do it NA.

OK, so i guess low 13's is a more realistic goal. nitrous or a s/c will have to take me the rest of the way.
