150 shot no problem. As long as tune is correct.:D

so a 200shot is out of the question to hit it once ?

If your not worried about the repercussions, go for it. If you want it to be safe I'd stay *around* 150.

i used to spray the crap out of my 92 GT with a 150 shot, i went through a bottle a week for like 2 years...

ok, i went to the track sunday with my GT, i ran 14.2. spinning in first, plus i got a back fuel pump im only getting 15-18psi at the rail. and ive been told its suppose to be 35-37. i looked at my plugs when i got home and they was whiteee, im thinking about going with that 255lph pump just in case for father mods or whatever, im hoping my car will run atleast 13.8 or so with tires and fixing the fuel prob. im not sure how much nitrous will give me

That 150 shot really wakes 'em up. Especially on a stock longblock+ 150 shot.

I've seen/read many bolt on 5.0's, many with E7TE's, cam and intake and come to think of it, a couple stock longblocks goin' deep into the 12's with the aformentioned 150 shot. Get some traction and get that bottle psi up and grab that 12 sec. timeslip!

all i got right now is,full exhaust, underdrives,no smog or ac,cold air intake, heads shaved .30, Trick flow cam,1.7 rocker.

well most of you know my setup. stock motor with bolt-ons and 125shot this time and drag radials set at 13.5 psi.

1.44 60ft
7.21@92 mph
11.51@112mph

im running out of steam at 800ft. peak hp is 4000rpms and im trapping 6100rpms. i need to swap the 4.10's for some 3.73's i think

With traction easy mid-low 13 sec. car on motor. Oughta be able to reduce 1/4 mile e.t.'s by 3/4 to 1 sec. if not more in 1/4 with the 150 shot *if* traction is present IMHO.

Manual trans?

The best advice I can give is select optimum gearing for combo, leave the line on the nitrous, and last but no least put a conservative tune in it, then inch up on it gradually.

Not sure what TFS cam you got in there. But the stock intake is limiting peak rpm. I'd yank that f$cker about 1,000 rpm's less than you did last outing. That should put a little more MPH in it anyway.

3.73's would probably be a little less than optimum for an N/A setup. However, if your puttin' 150 to it, that gear would be a nice choice. Or maybe even a 3.90 cog (depending on where that stage 1 makes peak with the E7's and stock intake)

yes but if your stock or near stock all your doing is reving for the sake of reving. and just wasting the life of the motor...to each their own tho

That is one of the reason's I like dynos. The other is to do same day testing to validate comparisons. But in the end it all boils down to the 1320'. Anyway dyno numbers are just that, numbers:laughing:
