I'm looking for opinions or experiences with using a flaming river or any other manual steering rack on a street driven fox body. I have a '93 coupe that I'm considering putting a manual steering rack on. The car will be primarily a street car and will run 245/45/17's up front. I'm not necessarily looking for the little bump in hp ( never hurts though ) gained by going to a manual rack - more so looking for a stiffer / firmer steering feel. Any opinions or suggestions to alternatives that have worked for you ? I've seen about putting a later model year rack in which seems like some people feel it's worthwhile and others - not so much. Experiences / opinions ?

I had a manual rack in my old 92. Didn't really care for it much and ultimately swapped back to the oem power steering setup.
