Timing Advance 94 5.0

I am going to try and have someone advance the timing on my 5.0 soon, as long as I find someone to do so. Anything I should prepare beforehand? Anything that has to be done before doing so?

I was told to install the 180* t-stat first. I have it so I might as well.

Also...everything I read says to pull the spout....I dont know where that is. Any help?

Sounds as simple as replacing the dizzy, but I want to be sure and not F something up

no. The stock fuel pressure is fine, even on heavily modded cars
