I'm no GM fan, although I grew up one. They lost me yrs ago and very likely for good. Even though I wouldn't buy one I am for them succeeding which in turn pushes competition to keep up or ahead. They just can't seem to get out of their own way anymore.

It's really a shame. My fiance had a cobalt and she was noticing it chugging one day, then a few days later she was on Route 28 heading to work and her car shut off.. Luckily for her she got it off the road before getting wrecked into or getting hurt. That car went good-bye that weekend lol. It really is a shame to see they can't get out of their own way. My 93 Chevy Lumina was a beast and an awesome car. I absolutely loved it, was my first car when I started to drive. Ran good and shit when I sold it, I got 500.00 less than what I paid for it 5 years later lol.

Not much has changed since the 70's really.... Utilize their name and former reputation to maximize profits and cut corners on cheap cars. I have had good luck with my Cavalier, but didnt pay much for it!
