We took it drag racing on 9-3-06 my best et was a .505, best 1/4 time was 14.432, best mph 97.35 I made 7 passes and had the time of my life. I have not done a thing to the car yet.

what kind of 60ft's are you running? I thought 05-06 gt's ran 14.0-13.8 range stock even with auto's .

My 60 ft. time was 2.212 , 2.219, 2.242, right in that range I don't know if that is great . I think that I need to do some homework and learn more about when to shift this car. I didn't take any air out of the rear tires and I had a full tank of gas as well as a passenger on some of the runs.I would appreciate any and all input. (I know Loose The Co-Pilot first thing):sticktonge:
Thank's

Welcome to the site! And yea, your car should be running a good bit faster than it did, but I would imagine all that extra weight you had in there didnt help anything. Also, get those 60' times down to at least 2.0 and you should be well on your way to the 13s. Oh and is it a auto or 5spd?

She would be a 5 spd. After the weight is gone what other things might I try to improve my 60 ft. time? :goodidea:
Thanks

steeper gears in the rear and drag radials, but I dont think you'd need drag radials yet because your car is not making a large amount of power. I say try gears first. Or basic mods like a cai, catback and tune.
