It's nice to see the pick up of David Perron. I was at the game on Saturday and he looked pretty good. Once he gets more acclimated, he should be pretty productive. Hopefully we can get another top 6 forward before the deadline.

Should be an interesting remainder of the year.

There are some rumors floating around about trading Paul Martin to the Kings for Justin Williams. I think it would be a solid move, being that we have depth on the blue line. Once everyone is back we will have a very solid roster on paper.

I agree. If healthy, the Pens are as talented as anyone. Will we ever see that? Lol. I'd really like to see another enforcer on the ice to protect that talent. Downie just doesn't cut it and after seeing Bortuzzo tuck his tail and run from Lucic it's obvious hes not up to it either. I miss Laraque and even Goddard.

It's looking like this is the last night of the Penguins season. It was a strange season with a lot of ups and downs. I think any of these games against the Rangers could have gone either way. If we lose tonight, I think it might be the last game for Malkin as a Penguin.

I'd rather see Sid go. He's NOT the best in the league any longer. He's a bad teammate, you don't blame others for not being on the same page on your blind passes. "we need a winger for Crosby". Horseshit, maybe after 10 yrs it's evident he can't play well with others. The local media want to blow the guy ever chance they can. He makes 8.7m a yr, he can't score, he can't lead, he whines. I agree with the Philly fans and all the yinzers in the world can't convince me otherwise. I will give it to him for being a beast down low HERE N THERE lately, but for me he's the most overrated player in the league since his concussion. Prior to that he was great albeit a whiner. That's my opinion and it's harsh.

I'm looking forward to not hearing about the Pens for 6 months or so.

Six months? Heck, the preseason starts two weeks after the Cup finals.
