This is a project Dan Ross and Rick (spick) have need doing at the shop. They bought a lincoln aviator and a Dan had a 55 t-bird in his barn, well they took the two and put them together. Its a huge undertaking but oyu get the picture... The engine is a dual cam 4.6 and is going to be twin turbo, AWD!
Looks like some real forward thinking hotrodding going
on here. Street outlaws better watch out for Dan (that's
Mr. Ross to me) & Rick. This just might blow Daddy
Dave's candles out if they would line up. Imho

That's a great project right there. VERY cool!!
I just picked up an Aviator for my wife's DD. That little 32v 4.6 is a lot of fun!!
I wonder if my Dad would go for a swap like that in his '57 Bird??

Dan - what color was it? Any chance the trim piece just below the rear window isn't cracked?
What color interior? Second row console or 3 buckets? Chrome wheels?
What other parts do you have available?
If you would rather talk just PM me your number and a good time to call.
Thanks!

That's what I hear, a True Street winner. The gray car behind the quadrabird won a trophy at the Myrtle Beach Mustang show
last summer. Everywhere you look their are sweet looking cars at Timmy's, that's just a back corner. It looks like he stores show cars
in the way back, back room. It makes me smile just looking at all the nice cars.

A few updated pictures of the Quadrabird. It runs. Getting tuned very soon. Mocked the front end up to see what it was going to look like. Its a great project tbat I an proud to be a part of. Seeing the smile on Dan's face the first time it rolled out of the garage under its own power was one of the biggest rewards I have gotten from a project!

10.7 122mph. I need to get to the 9s. AWD helps the launch but hearts top end Drags down about 75 hp
Following Bob's perfect pass formula (1320/MPH)
that works out to 10.819, seems to me you're
really hauling the mail there sir. Think you have
some converter slip on the top end?

What does it weigh?
l know they say if you don't think too good don't
think too much but here goes anyway. It looks
like Dan was bracket racing on a 10.70 index,
the other guy a 10.79 both cars are close in
trap speeds. (Dan said earlier that his car was
running 122) Dan lost that round even though
he crossed the line first because he broke out.
I think Dan saw that he was at least 2 car lengths
ahead & was worried about a break out. (a length
is about a tenth at that speed) So I'm thinking
Dan was lifting on the big end that round.
Also remember the AWD automatic curveball thing.

There was no lifting on this pass. I ran the car in bracket on Sunday. It's best passes were a 10.71 and 10.73 before this. So I went with a 10.70 dial.
Once my foot was to the floor, it never came off.

Timmy showed me this today.
That's a big smile on Mr. Ross!
edit: looks like the picture didn't come through from the news article posted back in 2017 in this thread.

Is that class you ran a 10.0 class?
I only saw results for day 1 - did you make the whole trip and run all the events?
Looks like a blast Dan.
Went 10. 0 and 10.1 first day at Norwalk
Rained out 2nd day at Cincinnati
Motor bad at Indy 11.1 and 11.7 lost oil pressure and pu knock. Called it quits
Was a real adventure pulling a trailer on the interstate with 4 race tires on
