The new Shop!

As many of you know I bought a new building a year and a half ago. It is 18000 square feet and I really needed the room. THings have been really moving forward since the move! We have so much more room! I bought this old building that is 4 miles from the old shop and updated it inside and have only started on the outside. We poured 80 yards of new concrete inside with heated floors, coated the floors on the new concrete, added a dedicated dyno bay, we have 4200 square feet of winter storage for customers, a larger office with a TV and seating, there is a pool table in the shop (thanks Ralph!) for customers to play while they wait, we put in 4 new lifts and just a TON of stuff. Two summers ago I was flown to Fuller Hotrods is Atlanta Georga and got to hang out with Bryan Fuller and crew for the weekend and film a Pilot for a reality show that never got off the ground. It was pretty fun though. That dude has an awesome shop!!! Pollished concrete floors, every jet tool in their catalog, arp bolts in everything!!!, crazy sick cars everywhere, mega awesome bikes everywhere! He was building an AWD 32 ford with a 429 boss in it and when I way building, I mean they were making every part on the entire car! I learned a good bit about building in the two days I spent with them. I learned a little about show biz as well, lol It was very cool. I have been contacted by the company a few times since about other shows but none of them panned out. I did get to make some very good connections across the country as well.

I checked the new shop out a couple weeks back with Ray when he and I were in town picking up a car for him, I'm truly jealous of the new place Tim. Very nice space, it has to be like a whole new world compared to the old space.

Yeah, tough to test when leaving from the new place.

Can't wait to get back home, bolt some new parts on, and get back on the dyno.
