Picture it, a nice 12 point sitting there nice and pretty all broadside ready. You have that 30-06 in your hands and aim about 3' high. Slowly squeeze and bang!! You see tgw dirt kick up on the ground between you and that nice 14 point somewhere in the 800 yard area. Bummer...a .338 lapua woulda taken that 14 point right down!!

You don't a .338 Lapua for 1K yd shooting. In 2009 I took an antelope at 1,047yds in a 10mph full value wind........with an XP-100....first shot. The Lapua just requires a little less dialing. This isn't the goat (can't find that pic) but it does show the gun.

That's my issue. Like Friday...I went to bullshit at Federal and to see about the holster for in the pants. I walk out with a new XD45!! I lack the filter on should/should not buy. She never gets mad though. I take care of her too.
