95 Saturn SL1. 232,000 miles, muffler hanger broken so it scrapes ground, muffler has hole rusted in it, EGR valve likes to stick, AC doesn't work, thermostat stuck open so never get heat...
And it sounds amazing when the EGR valve sticks.

So far I LOVE our '05 Aviator. Around town mileage sucks but the ride and power are fantastic.

Cool, glad to hear it. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 04 tomorrow. Is yours gray? I haven't seen many others in that color. Looks good!

Our Aviator is Chestnut Beige Metallic. Basically, it is a dark grey-brown metallic. Seats are camel leather and carpets are the same. Maybe once I'm done with it as a family truckster I will put twins on it and drop an early Mustang body on top and have something like the car in that new drift video! Or not....

Greg actually took these pics from eye level. It must be a bitch driving stick shift's from a booster seat.

Haha, now there's a thought! I do remember seeing a spot on the drivers side under the hood that looked perfect for a turbo :)

I think some of yinz don't understand the term "beater".
Mine is a '92 hot rod Cavalier wagon, 133k, windshield and tailgate window both leak, ignition switch is messed up, driver's bucket is held up by an old cooler, exhaust pipe before the muffler is patched together, with the last 2 winters opening up holes in the body like a can opener.

2000 Subby Outback, 221k miles, looks good from 100', and runs like crazy!! List of mods..........patched exhaust, mud'd quarters, paint of hood blistering (from excessive high speeds runs!!), salt oxidized wheels.
