My wife and I sold our house and the closing is February 6th. Due to a variety of different complexities, we don't know just yet where we're going to be living, so I'm throwing something out here, in the hopes that someone has something.

I'm looking for someone who has an enclosed trailer, and wont' be using it for a couple of months since its winter, that I can rent off of you for a fair charge. If you're not comfortable with me or soemone i know hauling it, no problem, I will compensate you for hauling it at your convenience.

I'm hoping that I know what's going on within the next couple of weeks, but in the event that things don't work the way I intend them to, i'm trying to cover my bases.

If it looks like I won't have a new place (house or location in the country) by whenever you need your trailer back, i'll just rent a storage place and stash all of it there. My hopes are, though, that if I can figure out my situation in the next couple of weeks, there won't be a need to load into a Uhaul, unload into a storage, and then load and unload again, once i know where i'm going.

My first thought was PODS, but the cost of beyond absurd -

If anyone has anything, please let me know and we can discuss terms/payment

Thank you - its a great place - we initially put it up for sale to move to about an hour from my parents (instead of 2.5), since we had the baby this past March. Nowadays, we may have different motivation altogether, but time will tell.

Looks like I was able to change direction, and i will no longer need a trailer. PODS was unbelievably high, but we called a local place to Pgh that is the same exact thing, and they're WAY cheaper, so we are having them drop off 4 on Monday.

Its called MyWay mobile storage. A 8x5x7 container is $50 a month for rental and stotage, and they charge $42 each time they pick it up or drop it off. The 42 covers up to 4 being dropped off since the truck holds 4. I'm hoping to use 3 but might need 4

Nice to know. Thanks for the heads up. When we build our new place this summer we will be in the same boat.
