The scope is mounted on flip over rings so you can hinge it over for open sights if you prefer.

The AK has me thinking... I recently just picked up something I wasn't crazy about (got a great deal on it), but now wish I hadn't spent the money so I could snag this up without thinking twice.

I will have to check it out, I can't remember what country it's from. SKS is a great platform. You can go full tactical, 30 rd mags. etc. Or keep it more sedate, but either way great shooters that take a beating and always work

My absolute favorite "assault rifle". Cheap to shoot, super easy to maintain, and an absolute blast to shoot.

Just learned something about the sks. It's a norinco para-trooper model. These variants bring pretty decent money (most seem 450-550 on gunbroker) Going to leave it priced where it is, but that's a steal
