I have a Focus ST right now, and it's pretty fun to drive. RS should be cool!

Dear Ford,
If you would have done this years ago you could have saved me and many others from the horrific mistake of purchasing an STI.

If it's 45k, good luck Ford. 32-35 would be reasonable.

Either way. Ford, Chevy, and Dodge has been making some awesome cars recently.

I really REALLY wanted one of these but figured the price was going to be in that range. More than what I wanted to pay for a car like this so I got the WRX instead. Maybe in a few years :pepper:

35 sounds more reasonable

All I can say is it's about time. I've tinkered with my Focus for 9 years now (hard to believe), and I'm close to moving on to something else. My obvious choice is a new Mustang, but AWD with the ability to send 70% of the torque to the rear is also tempting. There's just no way I'll spend $35K on it, though. So much Mustang can be had for that much money, especially buying a couple years used.

Well, new -vs- used is always skews the value in favor of used.

And $35,000 for a Focus would be an eye-popping number to me.

But that $35,000 Focus would thrash many cars costing double or nearly triple. A base 911 Carrera 4 (as if you can compare the two) would be about $90,000, has 350 hp, awd, and about the same weight as a Focus. Oh, maybe they are comparable in a few categories!

So I don't think many Focus buyers would pony up $35k, but Ford might steal some high-dollar customers from elsewhere. I can't imagine they're anticpating a large production run, so I think they'll do okay.
