which way t-stat goes.. HELP ASAP!

I am putting my thermostat in and its been so long since i had one in that i forgot which way it goes. I looked in the haynes manual and it doesn say anything.. I have two pics please help me with which one way is right...

haha not this time.. Because i went to put the t-stat in and it wouldn;t open:hissyfit: .. So i had to take it all apart and just put it in there without a thermostat until i get chance to get another one
