after re-reading that seems like the hp goal would be cheaper and easier than the weight-reduction goal... if that would even be possible. hp is always possible.

apparently, i'll s/c this LS3 tonight and after strapping it to the dyno again and only coming up with 750rwhp, i'll tear that off and twin-turbo it with some wimpy little turbos, then re-do that set-up... i'll report back in a few hours. LOL!

Courtesy of the Maryland State Police, I received a written warning for 74 in a 55 yesterday on way to Deep Creek. Was going to stop at Lady Luck Casino on ride home today, but figured all my luck was used up... No idea why I didn't get ticket. He must've been waiting for a 90 or 100 ??? He was at the bottom of a hill and he never put his lights on, got out of the Explorer, put his hands on his hips, cocked his head sideways like "Are you f*cking kidding me?" and pointed to the berm behind his SUV. I threw it in neutral and drifted to a slow, agonizing, embarrassed stop. He took my papers, went into his car and came back in less than 5 minutes with the warning and said, "Be careful pulling out of here". :dunno:

He was a big, burly dude. I don't think he would let his daughter drive a Miata. LOL. I averaged about 80MPH from Connellsville to the state line, quite surprised I didn't get nailed sooner. I was behind a 3/4 ton Dodge diesel (coming up the other side of the hill) pulling a trailer. This truck had some kind of rolling coal diesel tune in it because he was getting it up this hill towing a garbage rusted out car and blowing black smoke all up in ma face. I was having none of that... so I did the dreaded triple downshift and passed his ass... he tried to keep up and was doing a pretty good job, we were doing about 90MPH up the hill, crested the top, saw the black SUV and Trooper Mr.nicestcopIeverranintoman is already outside standing on the road. bawhahahahaha
