I never said it wasn't impressive.

I dunno... I think 800 might be pushing it as a daily

Looks like stupid fun, I really this generation of cars

Ya, this is definitely pushing it, but the new 2015 5.0 engine is built a good bit stronger than the previous 11-14. It's running forged rods this time around. Weak point in these engines is actually the oil pump gears.

Seriously impressive. I was looking at the '11-14 for my next project, but if these 2015's can handle that kind of power without even opening the motor I'm in. How tough is the drive train?

You'll want to upgrade the half shafts and the drive shaft.

Wow! Op that's 949rwhp not just crank and at 16.5psi. Very impressive if it stays together.

Yeah - that's pretty damn stout. Definitely need more tire under that car. Anyone mini-tubbing the 11+ Mustangs?

We can start with yours......

Isn't the 2015 an IRS setup? Not sure how they are made but judging from my 03 Cobra, I cant see how it could be mini-tubbed.

Yep. IRS.

Very impressive power. Now I just have to get used to the new looks.

I still like the 13-14 looks over the 15.

I am still not used to the 05+ looks. Haha! :rotflol:

They did learn from the 99/01 and 03-04 Cobra IRS. They used unequal length half shafts this time around to cut down on wheel hop.

I would have to see one before I can give my input. Failed design on the older models for sure.

They were cutting 1.6 60's on the new design with drag radials. Seems like they were breaking them with 1.5's though. There's stronger replacement units out now, by either FRPP/GForce or DSS.

Finally they make the power of a stock gm truck engine.

But in all seriousness that cool it makes that kind of power but how long would it last at that level and what's the trap on it? Dyno numbers are dyno numbers, the real numbers lay in the trap speed

Not sure what else Hellion did to the car, but when you take it to mid 900 at the tires, you'll need to build the rest of the car to handle it for racing. I'm sure Hellion will do this, but I think the purpose of the video was to show off the kit's power numbers.

I just remember what Terry told me after my car was almost finished. Terry: How much power do you want to make. Me: How much can it make? Terry: It will keep making power until there are engine parts on the floor.

Got to love turbos!! With factory engines with a good turbo kit it all comes down to how big your balls are and if you want to burn the candle from both ends.

I still like the 13-14 looks over the 15.

X2 on this one... the power of the GT350 is the only thing that would cause me to overcome the styling of the 15 (sorry, the IRS isn't enough) but then again I have a cunning plan to be making big power for summer of 2016 so who knows :)

If course I'm biased, but I do love the '13-'14 style.
