I will be there this Saturday for the opener. plus I go to PRP and Quaker a good bit for test and tunes throughout the warm driving months. usually just get frustrated since I can never put up a good ET at PRP and I spoiled myself when I set my PB down in MD at capitol raceway.

thinking about giving auto x a try on sunday as well. I see there's a thread here for that too.

Will keep an eye out for ya, can't miss hearing you come in.. :snicker::snicker:

Quaker is so sloooo tho... lol. MIR ruined all other tracks for me but I still go for lack of anything better to do.

Not sure if I'm going to make the NHSCC events but the first TrackCross is Sunday 4/26, they are a blast! Will def be there for that, I made a thread for that too.

yea most people who haven't seen me have most likely heard me still lol

tracks here I am .5-1.5 sec slower on ETs sadly. I would like to go down and try MIR eventually as well to maybe beat my current PB.

I've never done any autocross events so I figured the north park one would be a good starting point.

It's tough to beat sea-level altitude and negative DA's! Their track prep is very good too.

The downfall I see at PRP, which has been 2 years, is serious lack of prep and when the track goes bad quick because of street tires....they just let it go.

I agree completely. the track prep I've seen at PRP is far below what would be ideal for me running street tires. I run RE-11s which are pretty sticky and soft but I think maybe a DR setup this year is in the works.

i'm going to look into my schedule and hopefully I am able to make it. the Z runs good but as I said before me and PFP don't get along sometimes when It comes to traction and ETs lol

only bright side is with my new exhaust set up I lost backpressure and some bottom end TQ so maybe I wont spin as much off the line.

Welcome! We have a rather large variety of cars on here. I think there's only a handful of actual muscle cars on here, most are new edge cars though.

Your Z vs. my Z at the track rental?

Oh of course. Most v8s don't scare me but the Z06 is a bit different than most lol

I've taken down ss camaros, srt8 cars, and some 5.0 stangs in the Z so far but I will attribute most probably to driver error on their starts. On paper I shouldn't stand a chance with the power disadvantage. My only hope typically is less weight vs the V8 cars.

You guys have some bad azzz rides, that are way quicker than "normal" street cars. Go where the traction is good: line up in the slick lanes. Heck, you're quicker than a good chunk of the drag cars.
