Cool as design!
Only dislike was the bulky feel to it. Never had the opportunity to shoot one. Just held it at my friends gun shop.

Looks like a Kel- Tec rip off. What's the price tag?

Not very heavy, lot's of polymer in it

It does have a boxy appearance to it, but I like how they packaged all the capacity into a compact design.

Along the same lines as the kel-tec, but higher capacity. Colored variants are $949

15 rounds? Nice! If you cant hit a home invader with 15 shots then you'd have to really suck!

Got one for me and one for shop. Shop one might be sold already though

No disagreement, the kel tec is cheaper. Different guns built on similar platforms. Same as the AR-15 world where you can pay $600-$2500+++ depending on what you want. Just nice to have a new option in the high capacity tactical shotgun world.

Exactly!!! The DPMS version I believe is $1200 plus. When the Keltec came out it was around $2000.

Mine shoots great but kicks like a mule due to the short barrel. Still a blast to play with

I'm sneaking out this week and shooting that utas. Very curious how the recoil is. Where you shooting Hi brass, or low brass out of yours? Just curious. I'm going to sample a few different loads in it and see how she does

I was just shooting the generic 3" shell available at walmart....last minute trip to the range. I want to try the 2 3/4 shells. I believe recoil is so bad on mine due to the barrel length....isn't the utas barrel longer?

Believe it or not I have seen quite a few misses in my crime scene days to date. He'll I've seen upwards of 30+ rounds fired from 5 different guns with no injuries.

This being a home defense weapon in my opinion there is absolutely no need to fire 3" shells. Go with a nice tactical buckshot or slugs. Could even alternate them.

I'm pretty sure they both have 18.5" barrels. I shot the utas tonight with 2 3/4 low brass and 2 3/4 high brass. The high brass was certainly noticable so 3" would be downright painful. LOL

I agree, 2 3/4 plenty good for home defense

My Remington 887 tactical is loaded up with the Hornady critical defense buckshot. Has the versatight wad for nice tight group.

Completely agree. I was just playing at the range with the 3". I has some good defense shells a buddy gave me that are my home defemse

best part about having at the range was people asking me what it was....most of the old fellas there hadn't even heard of one. I couldn't get any of them to shoot it either lol

Whats the difference between your 887 and my 870?

I hooked my 870 up with the adjustable stock and pistol grip, much nicer now!
