Looking for an 03 or 04 cobra no more than 18500. Any color but black or yellow. Would like it to have less than 65000 miles. If any one knows of any for sale let me know.

FYI, they are very hard to find in that price range with that mileage. SVTPerformance has a couple i've seen from time to time but not very often. I saw a Sonic Blue one with 115,000 miles on it for $18,000 a few days ago. If you jump to $20,000 to $22,000 you may have better luck.

I also saw a silver vert on autotrader along with that OW vert for around the same price.

I agree. Doesn't look beat either. In all honesty op, I would be more afraid of a low milage beat car then a clean higher milage one. It doesn't take but a hand full of wot 6 gear pulls to do damage to these engines with a bad tune.

I agree, the time of year will also cause prices to go up too.

I disagree with most of what's been said here. The cars are out there. Just because someone posts the car for sale at $20K doesn't mean you can't pick it up for $18.5K or less. Keep your eye out here... http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?254-Terminators-Buy-Sell and on craigslist. Something will pop up. Don't be afraid to take a drive to get the car you want. A one or two day road trip is easily worth saving a couple grand on a decent car. Good luck with the search :goodidea:

Just adding to this don't count out something even out of driving range. Can have something shipped reasonably too.

+1. I recently had a vehicle shipped from Texas. Cost me under 1k to have it shipped.

Just keep an eye out. I got mine with 62k on it for $17,000 in 2011. Deals are out there if you wait on them. Took a longer drive (Texas) and passed on one that was nicer in Virginia, but all told I was in for about $17,800 after travel, gas and other unforseen expenses getting back to PGH.

Considering prices are just as strong now, or stronger, I have a hard time finding many other newer cars (2000 and up) that hold their value like the 03-04 cobra.

Yeah they hit a bottom about 3-4 yrs ago and now seem to be steady or going back up in price. Great if you already own one and can get your money back out of it, bad if you're looking for one and do not have cash, as most banks and CU's won't give out loans on 11-12 yr old cars.
