So......... 2016 gt350??????????????????????????
Looks like according to some dealer leaks, there is a possibility as a limited edition GT350 for 2015 Job 3.

See that just seems odd to me, why not wait till 2016? Auction off a couple "15" models and call it a day.

Anyone hear when they start building the 2015 GT350's. Curious as to when "job 3" happens.

100 total 2015 GT350's will be built in 2015, with 50 being track pack, and 50 being tech pack. 37 GT350R's will be built in 2015 as well.

Yep - saw that in the link. Thanks for the info. Love that they're making the 37 R-models. Most folks don't know about the history behind that.

They should only put vins on 34 of them...
I would chuckle and blow air through my nose harder than usual.
GT350 and GT350R options package pricing
http://www.mustang6g.com/?p=6381
GT350R is only $3500 over a base GT350. From what I hear though you have to have the track package on a GT350 to be able to click the R package box.
Also stated the rumor is the GT350 base price is around $45,880

GT350 only 45,880? Wife's car getting traded gotta force her to learn to drive a stick now.
It's either 45880 or 48850. I've seen both numbers. We will know for sure in a week.
Doing the math because Dave perichak said a fully loaded gt350r can come in under $65000

45k would be a dream come true, same with 48K. The amount of R&D for this car does make sense for it to sit at 52k tho, which was the first round of sources.

I bet those carbon fiber wheels from the "R" will fetch some big $$$. They do look cool though.

Base price. If you look there's like over $15000 in options. Another base price being thrown around now is $44462

I talked to the GM at Smail Ford in Greensburg yesterday as I was interested in driving one. They are getting 1 GT350 and its already sold. The allocation of them is going to make them hard to find. He told me that he was on the phone last week with the largest Mustang selling dealer in the country, in California, and they are getting 4. That dealer is marking them up 45k and they are also already paid for.
He also told me that in order to be eligible for a GT350R, the interested dealer must first sell 3 GT350's. He doesn't expect any Pittsburgh area dealers to have one and possibly only 1 dealer near Philadelphia will make it in Pennsylvania.

for 2015 their production numbers are very low, 100 350, and 37 R. Smail is not getting a 2015 though. I don't even believe Schults is, and they sell more Mustangs than anyone around here. 2016 GT350 production moves up to 1000 standard GT350 and 250 R

I need to visit my dealer May 11. and seriously consider this unless they are going to pull some over sticker BS.
Just when I thought I was going to forcefeed my GT this happens.

Now there is chatter on mustang6g that 2015 orders will end May 28th and the 2016 order banks don't open until June.
Not sure what the truth is at this point.

I heard they extended it slightly so people can still order the 50th package.

Congrats - and that's exactly what I thought you'd be getting!
Did they give you a copy of your order? What priority did they set it at?

Did they give you a copy of your order? What priority did they set it at?Didn't have time to wait for the copy. I recall something about priority 1. Belive he said it would be placed as a retail order which could help it arrive quicker.
Lowest it could go is priority 10. A regional ford rep is all that can set it as a 1.
Ask your dealer for a DORA sheet. It'll show you all of the details you need. Then you can track it's progress on the cotus portal online. It usually updates three times a week. It's pretty awesome how you can see your build progress.
You'll need the dealer id and the order number to do this before a vehicle vin is assigned.
