If anyone is in the Pittsburgh area stay away from Moon Township Ford Service department. This was possibly the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with. I took my 2013 Mustang in to get the clutch replaced and when I got it back my bumper was scratched up and they put my exhaust back on to the point where it melted the lower diffuser, which I didn't notice either until I got home. When I told the service department about it, the service manager Rob said that it was like that when I brought it in. Despite me having pictures of my car from the day that I brought it in (after a car show) with no damage, and pictures of the damage after they had it, they still denied any wrong-doing. I will be escalating this issue to Ford Corporate.

My God that's insane. Good luck getting things resolved.

How hard is it to do something right? And then they can't even own up to it.

That's why I won't take the car to the dealer for anything.

Looks like the "R" in army is scratched about where the bumper is damaged.

I'm guessing you already paid the bill. I would've told them to shove it up their ass. There are good dealerships out there though. It took me a while but even though I have to drive farther BJ Maurer Ford in Boswell PA treats my cars like I do. Great people if your down my way.

Oh wow that's a kick in the nuts. As much as cars cost now it hard enough to take care of it when it is in your care let alone leaving it at a dealership to have work done and fine that damage would put me over the edge. Skip the service department and go talk to the owner of the dealership. I am sure he wouldn't want the bad press getting out. If that doesn't work try calling the news, they seem to love this stuff. Hehe

Just call the General Manager or Executive Manager, that always works. If no results then contact the owner and he will contact the store and raise total hell.

Yep, had a relatively small issue with my new Ram (radio was goofy at times). Wife took it in, they screwed her around all day, pissed her off, and at the end of the day it still wasn't fixed ... The GM heard her rant, got involved ... the next day he picked the truck up, left her his demo, had it fixed and dropped it off at home ... she now has his direct number and calls him for all service appointments (and he has it picked up) ... They will go to long lengths to protect themselves ... Service managers (generally) don't.

You would think it would make the employees lives easier to just make the customer happy.

Do it right the first time, or deal with the headache of the customer coming back until it's right! I dealt with this last year when my windows were installed. One of them was crooked, come back out. then they half-assed the flashing on the outside, come back out. 3rd time, put a nail through the flashing to hold it in place, guess what? 4th time with a different crew, we're good to go.

Point is, when I did remodeling I did it right the first time, or fixed it if the customer thought there was a problem, so much easier in the long run. Hope they take of you Jamaal.
