This car has been listed for quite a while. Bit older than I was originally looking at but the price isn't bad. What am I missing.

Isn't that a ton of money for a '99 with those miles?

I don't know. I've never followed these cars at all.

They did some nice things for the 35th Anv. compared to regular GTs. Looks pretty damn clean for a 16 year old car. 100k miles isn't bad either. JMHO

Yeah, asking way too much. KBB is only $3K for it, and it's no collectors item.

Nice car, but at the end of the day it's a 99 gt with 100k miles. I'd say 5ish would be a reasonable number to expect on that car

You would be much happier in an S197 Dan.

it looks pretty clean, but you can find a much better deal on a 99-04 than that one

Thanks for looking. I'm trying to feel out the market and see what's available.

I think the 99-04's are a good bang for the buck today. You should be able to find something under $7500 with fairly low mileage (60k). V8, RWD, air, leather, decent stereo, fun to drive, ok handling, etc. for a couple grand.

Just looking for a four passenger, sporty driver that meets what Travis described. The T-bird was that but way old technology....and no cupholders.....wife needs her cupholders!!

and this.
i took 7,500 (albeit on trade for a Silverado that I got a f*ckton of rebates on) for an '01 GT with 34,000 miles and two and a half UPS truckloads of bolt-ons...
edit: and it still only made about 10 more rwhp than a bone-stock 3V. duh!!!

If you want a new edge, you should be able to get a decent GT for about 6k. and a really clean lower mileage one for about 8.

You can find Mach 1s with that type of mileage for the same price. I'd pass.

I've been watching this car too and when I first saw it go up I was shocked at the price. Waaaayyyyy overpriced. There are always good driver new edges on the corral
