Figured since we have a little over a month before the season starts I'd start a thread. The season has already been changed for me because of this chronic wasting disease. Through an executive order, no more food in the woods, salt, lures before season now and no scent lures during the season. Sucks. Especially since my apple tree is producing 10 buckets of apples every 4 days this year. Still getting some good pics on my camera. Just purchased a ladder stand as well. Great reviews and even a better price. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ameristep-15-Two-Man-Ladderstand/36545660?type=search Gotta figure out how to secure it now so it doesn't get stolen.
Here's an interesting pic I got on my camera that looks like a big cat. Not sure. I'll post a deer pic with it for size. The deer is closer to the camera though. Tell me what you all think. Too big for a house cat. Too bad it's not clear. 27256

wow not sure on the cat....doesn't have bobcat colors or the bob tail.....
sure looks like a small mountain lion but that just doesn't seem right....
I have little expectation for archery this yr...not sure I will even make it out unfortunately.
Last yr I killed 1 doe in archery....decided not to go out the last day and sure enough around 11am I saw the biggest live buck of my life standing 50 yds from me in my yard - he was running a young doe and would've come right under my stand. It was an easy 150 class deer...pretty rare for PA.

I've got a few nice deer on my camera this year and a lot of yearling bear pics. Also had the pic below where I park to walk in. Pretty big Bear even though it's a double step. If that is a lion in the pic, they have a very large travel range so I doubt I'll get to see it again but we will see. It definitely has the colors and walk of one. Besides that the jury's still out. 27258

Pumped for the season to get here, cant wait! Its shaping up to be a good season, the nasty weather during rifle season saved a lot of deer last year. I've been seeing more deer this year then in previous years without a doubt.

Haha I have no clue wtf that is but if I see that back there I'll never go back. It's a sickness at this point. I can't stay away. Buck fever. The damn bear is a pain in my ass, constantly messing with the camera. He licks the lens as you can see in the one pic below. 27299He's on there every week even though I'm no longer feeding. 2729927299
