Right now it will be a complete aeromotive return fuel system from the tank to the fuel log, going to up the cubes to a 363 with the new trick flow 205 11r heads and the new trick flow r single plane carbed intake. Not sure on the cam yet. It will be carbed but not sure whose carb yet. I currently have bassani 1 5/8 stepped to 1 3/4 headers with a 3" bassani stainless X pipe but I'll probably sell those and go with a set of kooks 1 7/8 with a 3.5" collector and exhaust with someone's mufflers

That will be a nasty combo for sure. What made u want to switch to a carb mike? I thought I was one of the few still fooling with carbed power plants lol. I went with Kevin at csu for my blow threw carb works like a charm he really knows his stuff.

I was getting bored with my setup and wanted to go faster. In order to do that my efi fuel system needed upgraded and the ecu was already maxed out. I wanted something without all the wiring that comes with efi. Plus a carb setup will be something new for me.

You will love it I'm sure. I went carb for some of the same reasons. In my opinion it just looks cleaner without all the wiring and stuff and once u get it nailed down it is simple and flat out works. I also like it cuz it's a lil different than what u usually see now guys shy away from carbs now cuz there a little more "picky" but in the right hands there good stuff.

I agree it definitely makes it cleaner with less work of hiding the wires. Everyone has their opinion but I believe I can make more power with the carb when it is setup right. What makes efi nice is the improved fuel mileage and efficiency. I'm going for power and ET lol.

What's a carb? Like a broken clock, it's right once in a while ...

new conbo sounds mean. No doubt for what you do, a carb is the right direction. You going on corn too?

No corn for me. It's just to inconsistent on mixture and quality. As for carbs, if you get it done right you'll never have to touch it. I'll either have a Braswell, Book, or APD and I shouldn't have to do anything other then bolt it on, hopefully! My dad bolted on a ootb Holley hp in 2002 and hasn't touched it or had a problem. Plus he neglectes it and doesn't give it any care. Parks it in the winter and leaves the gas just sit in it and fires it right up in the spring. Carbs aren't what they use to be anymore.

Interesting. The reports I have been getting from guys buying at the Speedway stations popping up has been rather consistent. There is a new station going in between Greensburg and Youngwood so it sure has me looking at it now.

Indeed, as I said for what you do, I don't think there is a better solution. I am surprised however your Dad's get's away with that little maintenance. The guys I'm around clean air bleeds every race day and small details. Maybe it's because they don't run air cleaners.

Trust me, we're surprised at how Kerry's car runs too, without him doing anything to it.

I wouldn't run without an air cleaner. Too much risk just in my own dumbassedness! :D

The air cleaner could be the key but he does absolutely nothing and it's been on there since 2002.

No reason to run e85. Alcohol is just as cheap and you use about the same amount from what I read.
